Grandma Kay and the Cousins

At Grandpa and Grandma's on Father's Day. Pat was able to come home for a few hours this day. Unbelievably, we didn't get a picture of Grandpa and Grady, but we did get this nice one of Grandma.
Grandma and cousins Michael, Becka, Joey, Abby
and Grady hanging out.

Katie and Grady Video

I've not tried to upload a video before, so here goes. Katie truly knows how to make Grady LOL.

Katie and Matthew's Visit

Katie and Matthew stayed with us from Sunday through Thursday morning the week of June 13. Unfortunately, the weather was awful the whole time, so we didn't get to do anything fun outside. Katie spent several hours working on and completing Grady's first scrapbook!

Matthew even helped do one page.

Katie played with Grady, fed him and put him to sleep. Grady was totally spoiled by the end of their visit because of all the attention Katie lavished on him!

Matthew spent Monday through Wednesday attending Chieftain basketball camp with John. They went to open gym every night, and Matthew checked out a construction job site of John's. This picture is taken on the last day of camp. Grady's shirt is a bit wet from drool and spitting up - he just got too darn excited when he heard all the dribbling on the court!

Shower

My Auntie Barb and cousin Sheila hosted a shower for us on June 13. Grady was utterly charming for the whole 2 1/2 hours - smiling and flirting with everyone!

I know Grady isn't in this picture with my mom and me, but I like it so it's on the page.

Rainy Saturday Afternoon

This particular Saturday was rainy and cold outside, so we simply snuggled in for the day and played. I set up Grady's Baby Einstein Activity Center, which bounces up and down like the old johnny jump-ups, and put him in it. He was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning, but he sure enjoyed it in no time at all. The seat turns 360 degrees, so Grady can "work" at four different stations. Wow! How did we ever survive our seemingly boring childhoods? Honestly, he likes this seat now, but he only lasts for 5 - 10 minutes in it before he's in overload.

Table Raceway

After dinner, John put Grady on a placement and pulled him around the table making car noises. Grady thought it was a good time. There are just some things daddy does that mommy would never even think of doing!
